Entrepreneurship: Because Job Security Doesn’t Exist Anymore

Do you have an overwhelming sense of desperation when you clock in at work? Do you feel like your wasting the most precious years of your life making someone else rich, when you could be building wealth for yourself?

I got to a point where I felt like my soul sucking job was killing me from the inside out. I felt like I wasn’t fulfilling my true purpose in life and my career felt more like a prison cell most of the time.

Eventually, I turned to entrepreneurship because I realized that ‘safe and steady’ weekly paycheck really wasn’t very safe at all.

Let me explain with a brief and short story…

The farmer and the three fools.

There once were three men who work for a farmer. Every month, the farmer paid each man 4 pieces of gold to work his fields and harvest his crops.

One day, the old farmer realized that if he fired one of the men and paid the other two an extra piece of gold, the two remaining men happily worked even harder for him to pick up the slack.

The farmer saved 2 pieces of gold each month by getting rid of the one man. The remaining two men worked harder than ever because of their pay raise. They believed the farmer was a great and caring man who paid them well.

After a year, the old farmer had 24 gold pieces now saved up from firing one of the men. He uses the money to buy a horse and a plow to work his land.

The farmer fires the two remaining men that work for him. He then hires and even younger man who is willing to do the easy work of plowing the fields on a horse for only two gold pieces a week.

The farm once had to pay 12 gold pieces a month to have his crops and land tended to. But after investing in some new equipment and thinking outside of the box, he was able to make good investments in new resources.

Now he only spends 2 gold pieces a month to have his land tended to. He fooled the three men and slowly became rich in the process.

The same story applies today.

Like magicians, employers distract us with an illusion in front of us. And the whole time that we are distracted by the trick in front of us, they are executing the hidden agenda behind their back.

No job is safe today. That is why you have to think about starting your own business.

Your employer is constantly thinking of ways to make more return on their investment and a cut costs. You are an expendable number that will inevitably be replaced by cheaper labor, more advanced technology, or some form of automation

If you don’t believe me they just look at the amount of jobs that have been outsourced to different countries over the past 20 years. Think about how many jobs have been eliminated due to automation such as phone answering systems and computer programs.

You might think that you work for a compassionate employer right now, but the day is coming when they fuck you over.

Besides, if you owned a company, wouldn’t you do the same? I’m sure most of us would like to sit here and say that we would treat our employees great and have a wonderful place that operates a fair business. But when it comes down to money we’re going to cut our losses.

Evolve or fade into obscurity.

Today is the day when you need to decide how you’re going to set yourself up with protection from the system.

The only answer is entrepreneurship

When most people think of being at entrepreneur, they typically envision investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into a business and hoping it succeeds. This  This is not necessarily true anymore with the power of the Internet .

Internet based businesses such as blogging only requires a ridiculously small investment  and can make alot of passive income if done correctly.

If you have a business idea, you can put it up a website, have the products production outsourced, and pay somebody a little bit of money to ship your products out. All you have to do is put forth the effort managing the business .

Business is not the same as it was 28 and 30 years ago. There are a million opportunities that are available today that weren’t even available 10 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of people continue to work their jobs while starting their side business. They work on it every day with persistence to achieve their success.

Smart people realize that any business can now be operated anywhere in the world with a phone. This means that you can make money and  life on your own terms.

One of the first things you have to do is get out of the mindset that there is a shortage of money out there.

There is no shortage of money.

For god sakes, we print the shit. The correct state of mind is to ask yourself what can you do to get more of the money that is yearning for you to take it.

You are 100% responsible for your success in life.

If you treat it like its an obligation, you will find success. There are more tools at your disposal today than ever before.

Success is equivalent to the amount of work and effort you are willing to put in to get it.

Therefore, little effort equals little success. Maximum effort equals great success.

You don’t need anybody’s permission to go out and achieve your dreams other than yourself. What you put in is what you get out so you better start now.

So when the day comes when a computer program takes over your job, will you look back and wish that you had started in entrepreneurship five years ago?

Because the future is not far away.

I have barely worked in my life because I make money online.

There comes a sense of freedom with it, however, as long as you are not making big bucks you are often worried about “will I make enough money this month”?

“Will I ever make enough money?”

    “Will this work?”

You will face more uncertainty being an Entrepreneur than being employed and getting a paycheck is safer than “making it” online.

    Most people never make it.

Nothing is safe in terms of money nowadays.

The only thing that is safe is that you can grow the amount of money you make by putting in more work and getting smarter.

    Constant self-improvement, self-education & self-discipline – More money

    Everything else is BS.

    There is no secret.

There is only hard work, knowledge and patience.

    Cheers!
