I love preworkout just as much as anyone else but it can be very expensive!

I want to show you how to make a homemade preworkout thats effective for your fitness goals and your wallet.

The average leading preworkouts cost around $36 for a small container that usually only have 30 servings. Unless you are sensitive to caffeine, most people are going to use more than only one scoop.

The other problem is that a lot of preworkouts are very under dosed on the ingredients that actually work. The few that have the proper doses needed to actually work, cost just as much and only have 20 servings. The less expensive preworkouts are usually masked with a proprietary blends on the labels.  Proprietary blends make it impossible to really know what you are really getting.

There is an alternative to spending to much  money to get that hyped up feeling preworkouts provide.

Make your own homemade preworkout

I purchased enough of raw materials to last six months and most of all, in doses that worked! For half a year, I didn’t have to go out and buy any preworkout! I spent allot of time researching what the most beneficial compounds where.  You will be surprised how much of each ingredient the body requires to be effective and how underused most brands are.

Caffeine

Increases mental focus and cognitive awareness. It also aids in thermogenic fat loss as well as an overall increase in energy. The effective dosage is between 200mg and 375 mg.

Beta Alanine

This is what gives that tingly feeling that you get when you know your preworkout has kicked in. Its main purpose is to decrease muscle fatigue. This will enable you to train harder and longer by acting as a lactic acid buffer. The effective dosage is  2 grams.

Creatine

Creatine Monohydrate is probably one of the most researched supplements with tons of studies to back up its numerous benefits. The compound pulls water into the muscle cells and as a result increases protein synthesis. This allows for faster recovery and accelerated growth in muscle tissue. The effective dosage is 5grams(5000mg).

Flavor

You are going to have to get some sort of flavoring. Most of these raw materials are going to taste like shit without it.

Agmatine Sulfate

We have all heard how arginine gives you a pump because it increases nitric oxide. The studies done with arginine were in excessively dosed liquid form administered with an IV,  not ingested with a powder. Agmatine sulfate improves blood flow which helps users obtain a great pump. It also shows positive effects on attention span and memory. This is a more expensive ingredient therefore I only use it when I am trying to get a pump.  The effective dosing is 1g to 1.5g
