Our society, if not the entire world, is addicted to social media. If you just look around you, your gonna see that everybody’s face is glued to their phone. They are sucking up all the content that they possibly can.

When most of us get bored, we pick up our phone to get on Instagram or Facebook to see what everybody else is doing.

We are addicted to this virtual reality world that is built on our phones and computers. We make excuses why we can’t make accomplishments and complain about why our lives aren’t better.

We follow people on social media because we think their lives are far more interesting than the mundane reality in which we live. We admire how successful they are and we wish we could have the things that they do. Most people do not realize that successful people don’t waste their time worrying about what other people are doing. Instead, they are utilizing the time they have to become more successful. Successful people build empires based around themselves and their ideas.

Have you ever stopped to realize that people who are on Instagram are known as followers? While you’re wasting your time accomplishing absolutely nothing by ‘following’ that leader on social media, they are building empires and making money.

Instagram is the most ingenious marketing tools that is available right now because any company can take a picture of some hot girl with a great ass while she stands next to whatever product their trying to push, and that is cheap advertisement. The most amazing part is that because of the personal charm that gets put in to these advertisements, most people (followers) don’t even realize that they are being advertised to. They just hit the ‘like’ button and convince themselves that they need that product.

At what point will you stop making excuses as to why you can’t have the life that you want?

No one ever became successful by saying the words “I can’t”, complaining about what they don’t have, sitting around making excuses, and doing nothing to get where they want to be.

You can have whatever kind of life you want to have as long as you are willing to put in the work to get it. You have to determine what you want and then ask yourself what you are doing to get it.

Success is a mindset that comes from recognizing what you want and doing whatever it takes to get it.

Are you a creator or a consumer?
Are you a leader or a follower?

Will you be the wolf or just another one of the sheep?

Success has never come overnight for anyone unless they hit the lottery. But the chances of that actually happening are so slim that you just need to take that out of your list of options.

Success is a mindset that you have to adopt and not a how-to guide to follow in order to get rich quik. You have to figure out what your good at and discover what your passion is.

Work does not have to feel like work if you enjoy what your doing. In order to do that, you have to take you’re mindset out of this therapeutic culture we live in and stop wasting time with outlets that do not matter.  Don’t waste time with social media, message boards, and YouTube unless you are using them to make money.

I began to struggled with the fact that all of the companies I had worked for had payed me a lot less than the actual amount of money I was making for them. I was growing their profits and building their business while I was miserably just getting through each day in order to get those two days off every week where I didn’t have to be at work.

So this became a constant, endless cycle. Go to work for 5 or 6 days straight to grow someone else’s business in order to receive a fraction of the money I was making for them. I just had to get through long enough to get to the weekend so I could recharge my batteries and not be stressed out by work. Then……..do it all over again.

I felt like I wasn’t really living, only existing.

I got to a point where my greatest fear was that I would get old feel regret for working so hard all these years in order to benefit someone other than me and my family.

Your either the hammer or the nail.

Although I was the boss and made good money, I constantly felt like the nail. I knew that I had to make a change.

We are all programmed to live this planned out life where you go to school, take the test, answer all the questions right, don’t ask too many questions, go to college, get a job to make someone else successful, reproduce, retire, grow old, whither away, ….die.

You don’t have to live life by those rules or anyone else’s. You have every right to live what ever kind of life you want to have. You don’t have to get a degree and spend a fortune to get it either. You come up with an idea and start an internet business based around it.

But this is not how we are programmed to think. We are taught that there are rules and guidelines that are to be followed and no wiggle room in between. The first step is changing your mindset to realize that anything you want is possible if the effort is applied.

Are you living the life that you want?

What are you doing to get it?

Will you be a wolf among the sheep?
