I wouldn't hesitate. You should do it and BADNET pretty much does all the technical stuff for you to get you up and running.

Just be consistent with creating content and you will eventually find success. I've been doing this for two years now and really wish I had started sooner. It usually takes about a year to build an audience and that's why most people aren't successful at blogging. It takes time and they quit because they don't get instant gratification right away.

I just got to the point where I'm making some serious money but it takes creativity and consistency. So just do it and hang in there.

The folks that win at this are the ones that don't give up. And with what what you want to do, you should build an audience for a year or two, get subscribers, then once you have an audience and good traffic.... You should monetize your site by writing you own cookbook and self publish through ejunkie...which you can sell on your site as an pdf-evoke format. Then, make money by doing what you love and giving your readers what they want.

So, in short....YAY

I want to create a blog/site about cooking, grilling and barbecue. It is an extreme passion of mine. I've always loved writing. With the two things conflating, I feel like I have a lot to offer in a website. Thinking about going with BADNET. Thoughts? I'd love your opinion. A yay or nay is what I'm seeking, to be direct!

In reply to <a href="https://leavingweakness.com/start-blog/#comment-39">Micheal</a>.

As long as you write with conviction and consistently put out content that truly gives people value/knowledge, you will find success. I choose to pay all my fees annually and leavingweakness.com paid for self within the first three months after I figured out how Affiliate marketing through click links and SEO worked.

traffic has grown and is steady to where I do see a nice monthly profit, it is not enough just yet to quit my day job. However, all of my website profits go directly into my Real estate rental side business, which has really helped excel that much faster.

But just remember that you'll never find success if you never get started. As with anything in life, you only get out what you are willing to put in.

I can tell you that I certainly don't regret it one bit.

The question is are you turning any sort of profit? If so, how long did it take? Are you at least getting enough traffic to pay for the monthly fees?
